Punjabi Action Film ‘Seylum’ to Feature Muneeb Butt and Amna Ilyas

Pakistani film enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as an action-packed Punjabi movie, Seylum, is in the making, starring Amna Ilyas and Muneeb Butt in the main roles.

Sources have confirmed that the film, produced by Awais Raoof under Jehan Films — the same production house that backed Shaan Shahid’s Zarrar — is set to start filming next week. Abu Aleeha has written and will direct the film.

Marking the first Punjabi film for both Butt and Ilyas, Seylum will be shot across various locations, including Lahore, Kallar Kahar, Nathiagali, Cholistan, and Bahawalpur.

According to well-placed sources, the team behind Seylum is planning to release the movie on Eidul Fitr next year. It is expected to be the second most expensive Punjabi film, following the 2022 hit The Legend of Maula Jatt.

The full cast will be revealed next week.
