Imran Khan, the founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has announced plans for a march to Islamabad on November 24. His sister, Aleema Khan, confirmed that this is a final call for all supporters to take to the streets across Pakistan.

After a meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan addressed the media, sharing her brother’s remarks. Imran Khan reportedly said, “On February 8, you initiated a revolution and exercised your constitutional right to take power from the elite, but by February 9, the entire mandate was stolen.” Aleema Khan also highlighted Imran Khan’s frustration over the alleged vote rigging, claiming it benefited a select few.

She emphasized her brother’s concerns over the erosion of judicial independence, quoting him as saying, “The freedom of the Supreme Court has been taken away.”

Imran’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, also spoke outside Adiala Jail, confirming that a committee has been formed to organize the Islamabad march. However, he refused to reveal the committee’s members for security reasons, noting they could face arrest. Chaudhry explained that the Islamabad march on November 24 will be the central event, with protests also taking place across Pakistan and globally. These protests will continue until their demands are met.

Chaudhry referred to this as “the final protest call,” listing key demands such as the reversal of the 26th amendment, restoration of PTI’s mandate, and the release of individuals detained without trial. He also confirmed that all PTI leadership will participate in the protests, with decisions on the protest’s duration to be made by a committee.

According to Chaudhry, Ali Amin Gandapur will lead a caravan from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa as per Imran Khan’s directions.

Earlier, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Advisor to the Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations, stated that the anticipated final call for action from Imran Khan would mark the end of the coalition government. He confirmed that preparations for protests across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa are underway, with Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur overseeing the efforts. Saif noted that the final signal from Imran Khan is awaited, and once given, protests will spread throughout the province, delivering a blow to what he called the “fake” government.

Saif also commented on the recent arrests of PTI officials, suggesting they reflect government anxiety as the opposition’s final call approaches. He vowed that the protests would restore constitutional order, challenge false charges, and hold accountable those responsible for allegedly stealing PTI’s mandate.
